屏蔽电泵是泵和电机合二为一的产品，在电机定子内表面和转子外表面各一个特殊金属材料制成的屏蔽套，将它们各自密封填充，不和所输送的液体介质接触，使电机的贴心和绕组不受腐蚀，使定子绕组保持了良好的绝缘性能，加之该泵叶轮和电机同轴相连，结构上只有静密封，保证了所输送液体的一滴不漏，*避免了泄漏对环境造成的污染，真正起到了安全环保的作用隔爆型屏蔽电泵是由屏蔽电动机和泵组成一体的无泄漏泵，主要由泵体、叶轮、定子、转子、前后轴承及推力盘等零部件组成。定子和转子分别用非磁性耐腐蚀薄壁套隔离起来，转子由前后轴承支撑浸在输送介质中，因而不需要任何型式的动密封来防止被输送介质的向外泄漏。 总体而言，屏蔽泵是离心式无密封泵。 屏蔽泵无泄漏，在泵内负压情况下，外界气体不会被吸入，特别适用于真空系统运行；同时它适用于高压、高熔点、高低温介质。屏蔽泵结构紧凑，体积小，重量轻；无冷却风扇、噪声较低，使用范围广，运转可靠，能提供一个相对良好的工作环境。
